Day 64 of 90 · Learn
Test yourself instead of re-reading
“I used to re-read my notes. Now I close the book and try to recall it. Harder, but it sticks.” — Kai

Today's action · 10 min
Pick something you're learning. Close your notes and spend 10 minutes writing down everything you remember, then check what you missed.
Why it works
Roediger and Karpicke found that students who practised recalling a passage remembered more a week later than those who simply re-read it, even though re-reading felt more effective at the time. Struggling to remember is part of how memory gets stronger.
