Day 54 of 90 · Calm under pressure
Be present, not perfect
“The dinner wasn't perfect, but I put my phone away and actually heard the stories.” — Kai

Today's action · 10 min
Pick one moment today, a meal, a call or a walk, and give it your full attention for 10 minutes: no phone, no planning ahead. When your mind drifts, gently bring it back.
Why it works
Killingsworth and Gilbert sampled thousands of people through the day and found their minds wandered nearly half the time, and that people were generally less happy when their minds were wandering. Being present doesn't need a perfect day, just your attention.
