Day 44 of 90 · Winter energy
A daylight walk at lunch
“Lunch break walk, coat on, face to the sky. It's the brightest part of my winter day.” — Kai

Today's action · 15 min
Take a 10 to 15 minute walk outside during the middle of the day, when daylight is strongest. Leave your desk and your phone behind if you can.
Why it works
The NHS's self-care advice for seasonal affective disorder includes getting as much natural daylight as you can and exercising regularly. A midday walk does both at once. It is a general wellbeing tip, not a treatment; if winter low mood is persistent, see a GP.
