Day 60 of 90 · Holidays

Phase 2 finale

“Sixty days. Some habits run on autopilot now. Others still need a push, and that's okay.” — Kai

For each habit, rate from 1 to 10 how automatic it feels: "I do it without having to think." Write the scores down; you'll compare them on Day 85.

Why it works

In Lally and colleagues' study, the median time for a habit to reach near-full automaticity was 66 days, but the range was 18 to 254 days. Where you are at Day 60 is normal, whatever your score. Some habits simply take longer.
